The 2022 International Conference on Advanced Textile Science and Technology (ICATST 2022) is to provide a platform for textile and apparel professionals to share advanced scientific and technological knowledge pertaining to textiles, and promote collaboration among universities, research institutions and industry.

ICATST 2022 seeks abstracts on research related to advanced textile science and technology for its inaugural conference, scheduled for December 1-4, 2022, at Donghua University, Shanghai, China. Submissions of abstracts related but not limited to the following themes are welcomed:

l  Advanced Textile Processing Technology Forum

Theme: Focus on Frontier Science, Promote Textile Technology

l  2022 International Conference on Biomedical Textile Materials (Medtex22 & IFBMTM 2022) 

Theme: The Innovative Combination of Medical Science and Engineering to Escort Life and Health 

l  Textile Structural Composites Forum

 Theme: Interweaving with Technology and Innovation 

l  Micro- and Nano-Sized Fibrous Materials and Products Forum

Theme: Textile Frontier, Cooperation and Innovation 

l  Smart Textile Materials and Products Forum

Theme: Exploring New Smart Fibers, Reshaping the Textile Industry 

l  Eco-Friendly Smart Textile and Green Manufacturing Forum

Theme: A Path of Green, Low-Carbon, Intelligent and Sustainable Development 

l  Textile Machines Technique and Systems Forum

Theme: Textile Equipment, Intelligent Manufacturing and Green Manufacturing 

l  Advanced Textile Science and Sustainability Forum

l  International Textile Frontier Forum & World Textile University Alliance Annual Meeting

Theme: Sharing the Digital Opportunity, Creating a Green Future 

l  Doctoral Forum

2022 International Textile Science and Technology Doctoral Students Annual Meeting

Submission and Registration

Access the official conference website at 国际纺织前沿科学与技术大会 (scimeeting.cn) and follow the link for submission before October 30, 2022 and registration (no later than November 5, 2022).

1.     Oral speakers are invited only.  

2.     Poster presenters should submit abstracts and register online. Formatting template for abstracts is provided online. Please prepare your abstract according to the format in the template. Submissions must be in the proper Word document format, no PDFs. Poster size of 90 cm × 120 cm is recommended.

3.     Audiences: only online registration is required.

Schedule:

Conference registration will be online through the website. We sincerely look forward to seeing everyone in person for enjoyment of presentations and networking. However, if some participants are unable to travel, virtual conference is offered. In-person and virtual options are available during registration. Up-to-date information about the conference, hotel accommodations, travel, and more will be available on the website as details are finalized.
